Intro

Hi! I'm Nan Guo, I'm a a full-stack software engineer with a passion for coding and exploring new challenges. I am skilled in both front-end and back-end development, and have a good understanding of web development technologies in multiple programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, and HTML, CSS, SQL, associated frameworks like React/Redux, Express, Sequelize, Flask, SQLAlchemy, and well-versed with database management systems including MySQL, and PostgreSQL. I am effective at both Agile and RESTful web API design, proficient with SCRUM, Kanban, and GitHub, and experienced with several forms of pair programming.

I currently residing in San Francisco Bay Area and have a happy family. I am highly motivated and passionate about coding, enjoy solving complex problems and finding the best solution. I am a proactive and self-motivated individual, always looking to improve my skills and stay up-to-date with the latest technologies.

I have a master degree, have been working for the government in the past ten years where I was responsible for managing import and export businesses. I am a skilled team manager, with a proven ability to effectively communicate and work well with others. As a high-efficiency person in project management, I'm good at handling stress and keeping projects on track.

I completed App Academy boot camp (24 weeks Online Software Engineer Program) in Fall 2022, where I received intensive training in software development and I am excited to apply my new skills and knowledge to a professional setting. The boot camp provided me with hands-on experience and in-depth understanding of various programming languages, including Python, Javascript, SQL, Java, HTML, CSS, as well as software development methodologies and best practices.
